It has taken 13 months to finally be on the road. It started with the gearbox and has ended with a virtual rebuild.

Rebuilt the gearbox, dashboard and interior. Refurbished the steering box, brakes, clutch systems and transfer case. Reinforced structural issues, replaced cv's and head gasket. Including shocks and a modified exhaust for less than R13000. Now that i am mobile a year plus later i guess time and money have a new meaning to me.
I bought the lada to run so i could continue with business, however  it was not road viable although it ran. So business stopped and so did the funds. A gamble lost.
There is no truer saying than "time is money" and the knowledge i gained through putting in the time i guess is priceless.
