Could be the battery itself

They should charge 13.8 - 14.1 V,

Is this measured on the battery or at the alternator? If on the battery check the charging voltage at the alternator to see if its the cable, otherwise you will need to have your alternator serviced as autolec, with new brushes bearings etc.

If you have a TBI your alternator should be specced for 80A continuous output, and carb version 55A output.

What size battery are you using, ideally it should be specced IEC/SAE 480A or higher

My Lada runs on grace from God, and breaks due to my failings.
