Wow!! Are you serious? Is this really a fuel Injection system and not a carb? :D

That's what it looks like to me. Does it have a float chamber?

We never opened it up before, but it should have it. There is no return pipe

Probably is a carburettor.

I'm using Toyota 12R cab on my 1.7, it works like magic and very good on fuel . no major modification. just 1 hole to drill and accelerator  cable.
