My Lada, Eddie
« on: December 17, 2018, 09:40:36 am »
Hi Guys,

I would just like to introduce you to my new beastie dubbed Eddie.

I bought it about a month ago and drove him up from KZN to PTA without so much as a blip.

The previous owner had a lot done at Ventz who did a fantastic job. However there is still a lot of work to be done to get him 100% but mechanically he is sound.

I will post as I go along and you guys can expect a lot of questions which I will post in the respective forums

Up Breedtsnek Pass... (sorry no action shots, father-in-law/co-pilot not very good with technology)

The Lada overheated on the way up, luckily had some water to top up before descent back.

I Also got started on some of issues the car had,

Sorting out the electronics under the dash(after pic, looked terrible and wires were all over the show-still lots to do down there,

Had to fix the driver seat internals, this is what they looked like. My repair is temporary though, will have to find a donor seat or put different seats in  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
